Skai.gr is the official website for Skai TV one of the most popular Greek TV Networks. Originally they hosted under their official website recorded videos taken from the live program and live coverage of sport games.
As it seems Skai TV understood that internet TV is getting popular among Greeks forcing them to create a new website that will host exclusively their tv and radio programs via the web.
This new website is called Woop.gr, developed by Wedia.gr using Drupal Open Source CMS, and has lots of fresh media content such as Photos and Videos from recent sport events, podcasts from Woop.gr authors and live TV broadcasting through their media platform.

Among other things I do these last 3 yrs I m following European Culture studies in Greek Open University.
This was and still is one of my top activities in my everyday life.
Reading, searching for news and sources, more reading and writing essays are part of my everyday life and I can assure you it well worths my time.

This is a 10 minute video from Lagadakia beach, one of the most pretty beaches in Lixouri region. Lagadakia is located 10 minutes away from havdata village and gets really crowded during summer months. Its suitable for families but if you like spear fishing you can have some good times visiting neighbouring beach called by the locals as “Pesho Lagadakia”.

Acheron river was one of the most sacred places in ancient Greece since it was believed to be one of the five rivers that carried dead people to the underworld.

Its been a long time now that I wanted to start up my own blog. I was busy enough taking care other people websites that I nearly erased that thought, nevertheless time has come to open www.makis.tv and welcome all of you into this blog of mine.

Here you can find various of posts that relate to different aspect of my life as domains, kitesurfing, video editing, photography and of course family.

Being born in Montreal/Canada and growing up in Athens/Greece gave me a big advantage over locals understanding our reality from a different angle. From a kid it seems I was trying to make this angle wider so it would include all the different cultures and ideas that are out there even though I know many of them are not suitable for me.

Relatives, specially those that live abroad, are very important to me and they are the ones that should feel most welcome here.
