Domaining is all about odds, everyone is trying to find the best domains to buy and pay the least amount for them. This usually happens with domain drops where some valuable domains for some reason arent renewed from their previous owner and eventually they drop in the pending delete phase and after some days they are available again for registration.
In order to track up the best domains ready to be dropped you need to spend several hours per day just to dig up all this pending delete or expired domain lists. After selecting the best ones usually you have to make a research to see if they have reseller or enduser value and if their Google Adwords average PPC value. Of course many other factors should be considered but we just wrote two of them as an example.
Accomplishing these tasks will make you spent lots of hours per day and still never be able to get the right domain under your account. Hours spent means lost money, possibilities and even quality of life. For that reason I recommend to use related services, free or with a subscription, that can save you lots of time and money.
Below I m going to list some of the services I find myself comfortable using and some other that I never tried but look promising.
Namecatch.com
FREE ONLINE SERVICE
What they offer:
Namecatch.com is my favourite service since they offer Free Expired Domain Sorting Tools in a user friendly way.
You can search domains based on many criteria like keywords(Starts with, Contains, Ends with), Auction Types(Godaddy, Namejet Prerelease, Dynadot Prerelease, Snapnames Prerelease etc), domain patterns like LLLL(CVCV, CVVC, CVCC etc.), vocabulary words(English, French, German, Spanish etc.) while results show the closing date, auction type and link, current price, bids and some important statistical details like TLDs taken, traffic(if available), alexa rank, backlinking domains and more.
I suggest you try them once and I m sure it will be a new bookmark for you.

What they offer:
ONLINE SERVICE – Monthly Subscription Plans:
Keep in mind that Daily List Parsing costs 2 queries and PR / AGE / DMOZ / YAHOO / ALEXA 1 query
Checking domains from the toolbar doesn’t cost anything but it only accepts one domain at a time.
So lets say you want to have a daily domain list and apply all filters on it(Pagerank, Age, Dmoz, Yahoo and Alexa), that will cost you in total 7 queries, if, for example, you buy the Silver subscription query package you can use it for one week in a row.
What they offer:
What they say about their service, SiteSpotter:
SiteSpotter by N3twork.com is looking very promising, I liked how they parse their results and I particularly liked the domain toolbar widget which I used several times for showing stats about a domain(Pagerank, PR Validity, Alexa Backlinks, Creation Date, DMOZ Listing, Yahoo Listing, Yahoo Backlinks, Alexa Rank, Number of Bidders in auction) without needing to visit another page for that purpose. Nevertheless they need to redesign their backend in order to be more user friendly.
For example domain results can be showed in separate lines that contain columns with stats like, PR, DMOZ listing, Yahoo listing, Age etc. Domain Age is best to be shown as yrs and not as date so we can quickly know its exact age instead of applying on the fly the math calculation: current year minus listing year.
Also they can include a direct link for each domain in results so that we don’t have to copy it, open a new tab and paste it loosing precious time and patience, that way they can include their affiliate links and receive some additional income by them.
I suggest trying them once, its only 11.95 for parsing 7 daily domain lists and applying all filters, I m sure you ll get your money back by finding a great domain to resell or develop.
